Questions About
Working With Aurelia
Choosing a financial advisor is personal. You should understand who you will work with, how your investments will be managed, and what the relationship will cost.
Finding the Right Fit
-
I work with women, families, and business owners who want to understand their investments and how those investments support their lives.
Many are preparing for retirement, rebuilding after divorce, navigating a career change, or taking responsibility for money they previously shared with someone else. Others have been saving for years and want a clearer understanding of where they stand.
-
No. You do not need to know the terminology or have everything organized.
You may be capable and confident in other areas of your life and still have questions about money. We can start with what you know, what concerns you, and what you would like to understand.
-
No. Supporting women is an important part of Aurelia’s focus, but I also work with men, couples, and families who value personal attention, education, and an ongoing advisory relationship.
-
My experience includes investment advice, fixed income trading, operations, supervision, and executive leadership. My personal experience has also shaped how I work with people facing change.
I want you to understand the reasoning behind your investment decisions and feel comfortable asking questions. Learning about your responsibilities, concerns, and goals is part of that work.
Investments and Financial Decisions
-
Aurelia’s core service is ongoing investment management. I develop and manage portfolios based on your goals, time horizon, income needs, and comfort with risk.
Within that relationship, we also consider how retirement, changing circumstances, and other financial decisions affect your investment strategy. When a matter requires tax or legal expertise, I coordinate with the appropriate professionals.
-
We begin by understanding what your money needs to do for you, when you may need it, and how much investment risk is appropriate.
From there, I establish an investment approach, monitor your portfolio, and make adjustments as needed. Aurelia provides discretionary management, meaning you authorize the firm to make investment decisions within the agreed strategy without seeking approval for every trade.
Investing involves risk. Diversification and ongoing management do not eliminate the possibility of losses.

I can help you organize your investment picture and consider how your assets may support your next stage of life. When divorce, taxes, or legal documents are involved, I coordinate with your attorney or accountant within the scope of my advisory role.

Getting Started
-
The complimentary consultation gives us a chance to learn about each other.
We will discuss what prompted you to reach out, your financial concerns, and what you are looking for in an advisor. I will explain how Aurelia works and answer your questions so we can determine whether the relationship is a good fit.
You do not need to make a decision during that conversation.
-
We review the scope of the relationship, fees, and advisory agreement. I then guide you through the required information, account paperwork, and any appropriate transfers.
We also review your goals, financial circumstances, and risk tolerance so your investment strategy reflects your needs.
-
You are welcome to seek a second opinion.
We can discuss what is working, what feels unclear, and what you would like from your advisory relationship. If you decide to make a change, we will consider the practical details before moving accounts.
